Women Build
The Coastal Georgia Chapter of The National Association of
Women in Construction and the Coastal Empire Habitat for
Humanity are teaming up to build a home through the
Women Build program.  We are helping to provide
affordable housing for a deserving local family!

Help us reach our goal to raise a minimum of $10,000!
Donations can be made via check or credit card:
  • Make your check payable to The Coastal Empire
    Habitat for Humanity and mail to Coastal Georgia
    NAWIC at P.O. Box 11046 Savannah, GA 31412.
  • Give your donation to a NAWIC member you know.
  • Credit card donations can be made via PayPal on

How You Can Help
Women Build is Habitat’s volunteer program that is geared
towards women volunteers who want to make a difference
in their community.  Through this process Women Build
hopes to empower women to take action against poverty
housing conditions.  Habitat for Humanity does not “give”
houses away.  Habitat actually sells the homes at no profit
and the families are responsible for paying a monthly
mortgage payment.  They are also required to invest 350
hours of volunteer labor into the construction of their
home and the homes of other families.  Since 1983, Coastal
Empire Habitat has built over 100 homes and we are
pleased to join their effort to provide affordable housing in
