Coastal Georgia National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is pleased to
announce its 2012-2013 Board of Directors.

The Board positions include TJ Baggett of Stage Front Presentation Systems, President;
Heather Vinas of VOS CPAs, Vice President; Polly Hendricks of Joe Marchese Construction,
Corresponding Secretary; Tricia Larson of Stage Front Presentation Systems, Recording
Secretary; Tonya Reed of Henry Plumbing, Treasurer; LaShonda Robinson of CH2MHILL,
Director; Kim Taylor of UNITS Mobile Storage, Director; and Dawn Morgan of Collins
Construction, Immediate Past President.

An Installation Ceremony was held on Monday, September 24 at The Exchange Tavern on
Waters Ave. Awards for the evening were presented to two members for their service and
dedication to the chapter. The WIC of the Year Award was voted on by chapter members and
awarded to Dawn Morgan of Collins Construction, one of the founding members, for her hard
work and commitment to the chapter’s initial charter and ongoing growth. The President’s
Award was awarded by the former Chapter President to Heather Vinas of VOS CPAs for her
involvement and dependable assistance to the President, chapter and Board.

As new Chapter President, TJ’s goals will align with the National Association mission, vision
and values to enhance the success of women in the construction industry through execution of
the core values: Believe in ourselves, persevere with the strength of our convictions, and dare
to move into new horizons. TJ will work to make invisible women visible through a value add
proposition that can be organically shared in their personal and professional lives that will
begin with succinct communication. An emphasis will be placed on increasing membership
with a sustainable growth pattern, increasing the community visibility and acceptance of
NAWIC, and partnering with other organizations that have synergistic missions and values.
